Louis de Boncourt, soprano, was born in 1996 in Limousin à Limoge. He became a member of the children’s choir Pueri Cantores Limousins at the age of just five. When he became seven, he entered the local Conservatoire to study the viola and singing (“maîtrise”) while continuing to sing with the Pueri Cantores.
At the age of 11, Boncourt joined the prestigious choir at the Centre de Musique Baroque de Versailles under the direction of Maestro Olivier Schneebeli as a “page” and pursues a full schedule there with academic studies in the morning, musical rehearsals in the afternoon and regular performances at the Chapelle Royale in Versailles.
