INNOKENTI GRABKO – viola
Innokenti Grabko was born in St.Pertersburg into a musical family.He began his studies at the St.Petersburg Rimskij-Korsikow Conservatorium and later continued at Vienna University. His Professors were V. Stopizschev, Y. Bashmet, J. Staar, S. Führlinger and T. Lea. He is a prizewinner of many national and international competitions such as Valentino Bucchi Viola Competition in Rome.In 1995 he won the International Competition “Virtuoso of the year 2000 St.Petersburg” , performing in the final Gala Concert in the Kirov Theatre with the St.Petersburg Radio Symphony Orchestra. In the year 2000 Innokenti Grabko was awarded the “Diplom d’Onore” from the Akademia Chigiana in Sienna. Also in this year he was a prize winner at the Valentino Bucchi Viola Competition in Rome.Between 1999 and 2002 he was principal viola of the Vienna Chamber Orchestra. In 2002 he joined Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.
Innokenti Grabko often performs in different chamber ensembles of Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra in Austria and abroad.
